In the Brazilian capital of children’s shoes, the DOK Group was born to stand out among the various industries in the pole where we found ourselves
Since our foundation, in July 2010, we have realized the opportunity to create something different, with purpose, commitment and care for people, whether our customers, suppliers or employees.
All this affection, zeal and care paid off, and today, the DOK Group stands out on the national scene when it comes to quality, comfort, technology and innovation. The path so far has been one of hard work and countless victories, and in 2020 we started consolidating the DOK brand and our evolution to the DOK Group.
At the beginning of the same year, we acquired a manufacturing plant from the Vulcabrás Azaleia Group in the city of Frei Paulo, in Sergipe, greatly increasing our production capacity. With this acquisition, the Group incorporated Ortopé into its portfolio of brands, a reference in quality and technology for children’s shoes for over 60 years.
To close the year 2020, a new negotiation with the Vulcabrás Azaleia Group resulted in the purchase of the Dijean brand, which is very strong in the adult female market. And in the first months of 2021, the DOK Group had already launched products and was with its sales team starting its activities in this segment.
The merger of three consolidated brands made us obtain even more visibility as a reference in footwear in Brazil and increased our share in the foreign market, showing us presence in more than twenty countries and standing out in all continents.
All this work is the result of a series of honors, such as the quality seals of the Brazilian Textile Retail Association (ABVTEX), Universal Studios, Disney and other important partners, which confirm all our quality and care for consumers and products from the production process.
Produce products in materials such as expanded foams, felts, non-wovens, with the application, or not, of transferable self-adhesives, or double-sided rubber-based, water-based acrylic, or hypoallergenic materials, which meet customer needs, with compliance of the applicable requirements, through the involvement of our employees, in order to seek the continuous improvement of our activities.
Our journey has just begun and our desire is to specialize each day more to deliver differentiated products, with a lot of comfort, quality and technology to all consumers in Brazil and around the world.
